At American Made Custom Cabinet Company (TM), we specialize in designing and manufacturing kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities, home offices, entertainment centers, and a wide variety of custom & semi-custom projects designed and built to your specifications.

It was not my intention to reinvent the wheel when I decided to continue designing custom kitchens after 34 years in my family's kitchen, bath, and construction Company. It was an uncomplicated decision, that by excluding the general contracting aspect of the business, I am able to fully focus on the design and functionality of a kitchen specifically tailored to your lifestyle and budget. Having been a high end cabinet dealer for so many years, I can easily distinguish between inferior, low grade manufactured cabinetry and cabinetry of a much higher quality and finish value.

It is quite simple. Your home is the most significant purchase you will ever make. Upgrading and maintaining your home will not only give you a sense of pride and undeniable pleasure, but it will also benefit you when the time comes to sell your home. We are at the point where we have smarter and well educated consumers in abundance, and attempting to pass off substandard cabinetry as quality is not only deceitful, it is now almost unfeasible.

Price however is always a factor. The most advertised cabinet companies do not always equate to a quality, all wood product. We live in a society of unscrupulous contractors and an atmosphere of hype with fragments of truth, which makes comparing apples to apples virtually impossible. When you do finally find a truly quality cabinet that is worth owning, the price can sometimes be astronomical.

This is one of only two reasons I decided to open The American Made Custom Cabinet Company (TM) . I have an all wood, not partial wood, but an all wood cabinet line built for my clients. This means that the front, sides, back, bottom and shelves are made from furniture grade plywood. This also means that there are no fillers, and virtually no limitations except those that are standard limitations with all custom cabinet lines. Any stain, paint color, glaze, door and drawer style is yours for the choosing. We can color match any finish and duplicate any door. But at what cost?

Our average kitchen cabinet order is between $10,000.00 and $20,000.00. That is the truth. No gimmicks. No smoke and mirrors. Simply an all wood custom made cabinet designed to your existing kitchen measurements. Under mount glides are standard. Solid wood cutlery drawers are standard. Double garbage units are standard. Stack and crown molding are standard. We do not give you a basic stripped down version of your kitchen and then try to up sell all the features that are missing. We never have, and never will. Sadly, other businesses in the same field attempt to sell poorly constructed, particle board assembled, imitation wood cabinetry built in other countries other than America in the same price range. There was a great wave of demand during the recession for cheap cabinets at any price. The opinion I had heard most often was that in reality, who would it hurt?

This leads me to the second reason I opened The American Made Custom Cabinet Company (TM).

We are the choices that we make

When we make the choice to buy cabinets from other countries, we are in essence taking away much needed jobs from Americans. Some of these Americans are Veterans. Veterans are people that were brave enough to put themselves in harm's way. Veterans are people who took a bullet or lost a limb so that we can have our freedom. Hero's are the ones that went into harm's way, and never came home. So, I decided to do something about it, not just talk about it or put it out of my mind and ignore the problem. Besides selling all wood custom cabinets at extremely low pricing, I decided to do something powerful.

The power of giving back

For every cabinet order placed, a portion of the proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project and or a local Veteran Organization. We are in the planning stage of opening several more locations in other towns and the same principle will apply. A donation will be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or a local Veteran Organization. What this ultimately means, is that your money not only went a long way in purchasing quality cabinetry at an affordable price, but it helped preserve American jobs as well, and helped people that need our help the most; Veterans.

Full disclosure, I do come from a military family and take great pride in this fact.
